I am glad that our new Emergency Department at Great Western Hospital will have dedicated, private space for those attending in mental health crisis.
The new A&E Department, which opens later this year, will also mean a release of more space for other facilities within the hospital site.
That's as a result of the Conservative government investment of £26m, which is the biggest single investment in the hospital's history.
Great Western Hospital want to ensure this space is safe and comfortable, so are asking local people for their views to help inform the development of the new ED Observation area.
