Temporary Post Office Closures in South Swindon

I have received the following information from the Post Office to share with local residents:

As you may be aware, Freshbrook Post Office and Liden Post Office are located within Tesco stores, which are carrying out refurbishments, resulting in the temporary closure of the branches.

Whilst this is frustrating for local residents, particularly in West Swindon, where the post office in the West Swindon District Centre is still working towards reopening, I have been informed by the Post Office that residents will benefit from improved facilities in the long term.

Freshbrook Post Office

Village Centre, Freshbrook, Swindon, SN5 8LY

We are writing to inform you that due to extensive building work at the above location, the branch will need to close temporarily. The safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close, temporarily, on Saturday 22 April 2023 at 12:30. It is envisaged that the work will take approximately five weeks to complete, following which the service will re-open on Friday 26 May 2023 at 09:00

Should the dates change, posters will be displayed in branch and the store to let customers know.
